Thirty years ago today I gave birth to my first born, David Cole. I had never been around small children much and even less babies but little did I know that this little blonde haired, blue-eyed, chubby cheek, swollen eyed miracle would bring me such happiness and pride in my life. This little 8 lb. 3 oz. bundle of joy taught me so much about loving another person and always being there when he needed me. Yes did I make mistakes with him as a mother? most certainly but I would never trade any of those moments because I know they made him the man he is today and part of the mom and person I am today. (I have two other children that educated me more on motherhood.. lol) I am so proud of the man he is and the things he has done with his life. I never had a moments grief or worry with him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Bud (son)!!!!! I love you so very much... MOM
