This American Life just gets better and better. 525 is as some people say, full of feels. Especially the story about the family and the yacht which hit the headlines recently....It’s why the coverage of that emergency annoyed me, ‘why would you sail with children?’ - I was a toddler and I sailed on racing dinghies! Sailing people would understand, others dont. It’s what annoys me about the social media world we live in - people get in your face about stuff they don’t understand & make snap judgements about how others live without the full facts. What I like about TAL is they turn that on its head, you hear what its like to be a killer or a teenage paedophile, or more usually someone caught in an impossible situation, and you can make your own decision. Its usually not black/white.
