This Christmas day and season has been one of my most joyous, - TopicsExpress

This Christmas day and season has been one of my most joyous, grateful and content of any Christmas seasons I can remember. And that seems a bit counter intuitive and odd since this year has been one of the most challenging I have faced in my entire 50 plus years. My business became challenged for many, diverse and various reasons earlier in the year and the energy and focus it took to work through that at times was exhausting and daunting. As many of you know Mary Lou Pugh Rodgers had a fluke and totally unexpected internally bleed that almost took her life and killed her. The miracle of coming through those weeks was excruciating, amzing, full of gifts and so rewarding? Our cherished daughter Nicole was to be married a few months later and luckily the timing of that helped give Mary Lou purpose and help to draw her on a mission to recovery and better health. The doctors all still say she is nothing less than and absolute miracle! We then were able to see our daughter become married to David the man of her dreams. And who we luckily love too. Which is a bonus. :) But then our beloved dog Olivia got an out of the blue infection and became very ill, had emergency surgery and luckily survived and is doing well. I did end up phasing down and closing my real estate side of the business and my company and have had two months now dealing with the energy and intensity of all that and the many people it effected along the way. Hard for sure but many surprise gifts and lessons came about and still in process. And now its is Christmas Day and the holiday season. I could not be happier, more at peace and more in awe of the beauty and Magic of life itself. My greatest gift continues to be my core spiritual beliefs in a higher power that is guiding my life at all times and learning to relish in all the peaks and valleys that make up this beautiful quilt of a robust and full life. And today on Christmas my most cherished gift is that Mary Lou is alive, well and thriving in who she is a as a woman and spiritual being! She amazes and inspires me every day and our love is deeper and brighter than ever before. We have had all the challenges and triumphs I mention above and many more, but the things that remains at the core and most valued is love, faith and hope! Thank you to all of our many cherished friends and family who aided and supported us on this journey! We are honored and indebted for your gracious kindness, love and support. Enjoy your Christmas and have a blessed New Year. And Mary Lou know I love you with the core of being and the gift of sharing my life with you is the greatest gift I will ever receive!
