The Good thing about a REPUBLIC IS that no matter who we put into office or elect as representatives they are acting under a constitution. de•moc•ra•cy [dih-mok-ruh-see] Show IPAnoun, plural de•moc•ra•cies. government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system. The Problem with a DEMOCRACY is if the peoples judgments are immoral (unrighteous) or brainwashed(“forgive them for they know not what they do” -HB) than the laws of the land will also be immoral or unrighteous and the people will become corrupt and wicked.
