This Is Crazy!! Fat Man suing White Castles, because their booths are too small,..By Doris Quintanilla, Fri, November 15, 2013 A 64-year-old New York stockbroker is suing White Castle for their small booths that he claims are not accommodating for someone of his size. “I’m not humongous, [but] I’m a big guy,” Martin Kessman told The New York Post. “I could not wedge myself in.” Kessman claims his local White Castle in Nanuet is in violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act because the seats are not big enough for people of his size. Kessman filed a federal lawsuit last week seeking unspecified financial damages against the fast-food chain. The lawsuit says he hurt his knee while trying to wedge himself into one of the restaurant’s booths. The White Castle customer, who says he’s been eating there for 52 years, wrote letters to White Castle’s corporate headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. But all he got in return were “condescending letters,” three coupons for a total of nine hamburgers and empty promises of renovating the restaurant. White Castle spokeswoman Jamie Richardson said the Nanuet location is being replaced by a new one that will have more room to sit. She did not specify when the changes would come. Kessman’s complaints are unique he says because he doesn’t have any problem sitting at other fast food restaurants or on airplanes. But Kessman could have easily approached a store manager and asked for a regular chair, Richardson said. While Kessman doesn’t go into the restaurant anymore out of embarrassment, he still sends his wife out to get him burgers. He has been eating White Castle burgers for 52 years, he told The Post. Other famous fast food chain lawsuits include the 1994 case of hot, spilled McDonald’s coffee that awarded a woman with $2.86 million, and another woman who ended up doing five years in prison after she was found to have paid a man $100 for a severed finger she planted in a bowl of chili in an attempt to sue Wendy’s. My Point??? Instead of suing the restaurant, why dont U consider a damned DIET????That would make more sense to me!!!!Mannyb!
