This Monday had been to Passport office at Kolkata for renewal of my PP. I was zapped with the pleasant experience I had this time. Every thing on schedule, very systematic, no agents, no bribes...The personnel working and managing out there were quite fast, professional and courteous. An AC office- spick and span, sufficient chairs, clean toilets, decent food counter etc. The entire process took just 1.15 hour. This was a huge contrast to previous experience at Passport office - fully chaotic and you had no other way then going to an agent paying double or more and still not sure. Felt good and hopeful that India is changing for better.
