This Saturday, August 23 more than 1500 cyclists will participate in the 3rd Annual GranFondo Banff. For one day only, road closures will take place to accommodate pedal-powered participants. Motorists and campers are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time to arrive or depart. Closed until 9:00 a.m. - Lake Minnewanka Interchange (Norquay Interchange will not close), Lake Minnewanka Road, Tunnel Mountain Road, Tunnel Mountain Drive. Closed until 3:00 p.m. - Bow Valley Parkway, Vermilion Lakes Road Thank you for your patience. Please use caution around cyclists and obey traffic marshals. Alternatively, visit Marble Canyon, Takakkaw Falls, Emerald Lake, or Bow Lake and return to Banff in the afternoon for a free visit to the Banff Park Museum courtesy of GranFondo Canada. august23.ca
