This Saturday enjoy a free Concert and some exceptional talent. The free BSYO concert will be will be 3:30 PM, Saturday, November 15th, at the Suntree United Methodist Church, 7400 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL 32940. Mr. Christian Tamburr, FIT Artist in Residence recently shared his time, musical talents, stories, and advice with the student musicians of the Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra. Mr. Tamburr, an alumni of the BSYO, has a storied musical career. He toured as pianist and musical director for Julio Iglesias. He joined Cirque du Soleil in 2009 as an assistant composer and musical director for a new show in Macau, China. He currently leads the critically acclaimed Christian Tamburr Quintet around the world, with recent performances in Shanghai, China and Doha, Qatar as an Ambassador to Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. The BSYO, took a short break from the preparations for their first concert of the 2014-2015 season to share laughs and lessons from the world traveling local musician who has made a remarkable name for himself though diligence, hard work, and feeding his creative spirit.
