This Self Help Group For Kashmir Flood Victims is an initiative started by some professionals and students who volunteered themselves to provide relief to the victims. We started our journey last week with a group of volunteers. As of now we havent been able to make contact with many of our volunteers and we dont know about their well being. Our numbers on Facebook were available to those, who wanted to make contribution in the form of Food, Medicines etc. But now many people are calling to know information about different areas. But we really apologize that we have very less information and we are trying our best to collect information from Army and NDRF. We are trying our level best to provide you with correct information on our Facebook page. We are using emergency internet connections as well. Please dont take our numbers as helpline numbers because these numbers belong to the volunteers who are working for relief operations and they are trying their level best to provide you information that is available to them. They have been talking to army personnel and disaster teams as well. We only have one single Aircel number, that is functional with the team. We request everyone to remain patient, and maintain calm. Please dont pay heed to any rumors, try to get accurate information from Army and disaster team, because they only right now can provide you accurate information.
