This Sunday, September 14th, the seasoned veterans of the Toronto - TopicsExpress

This Sunday, September 14th, the seasoned veterans of the Toronto music scene, Whiskey Jack, return for their monthly visit to the Cadillac Lounge at 1296 Queen St. West (just west of Dufferin). If you havent visited Parkdale recently, this is a good opportunity to see why its become one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods in the city. Sunday will be the perfect day for a stroll on the strip. Showtime is from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The afternoon proceedings will include Whiskey Jack co-founder, John Hoffman on mandolin and fiddle. Oh so many years ago, John and Duncan started this madness called Whiskey Jack and were thrilled he can join us as our special guest. Were hoping hes learned some new jokes although Im sure hell revive some old reliables...like his thinning hair joke. To those of you on this list that continue to support live music in Toronto, Duncan, Bob, Howard, Randy, Eric and Michelle thank you. We never take you for granted. The Caddie is a pretty special place. If youve never attended one of our afternoon shows (and we know theres one or two of you), youll find it most welcoming. Kevin is the best bartender in the city; Sam Grosso, the proprietor, is a musicians best friend; Jackson working the sound board produces CD quality sound and then theres the general warm vibe....kids dancing in front of the stage, parents enjoying a pint or two while the grandparents chase the little devils around the room pleading with them to behave, just this once. No Cover Charge. All are welcome. Check out John singing Four or Five Times on Global TV. youtu.be/cls67iFYEiI
