This Sunday, we invite you to take part in THE NARRATIVE IMPULSE: An Evening of Visual Art, Writing and Readings Interlopers: Unintended Narratives installation, 2014, Photo: Dan Kvitka Sunday, August 17, 5-7 pm. Light Refreshments. Free and open to the public. In conjunction with Ellen Goldschmidts exhibition Interlopers: Unintended Narratives, please join us for an exploration of narrative--visual vs. written--with Goldschmidt and writer Merridawn Duckler. The two will lead a conversation about the exhibition, the human impulse toward narrative, and the tradition of collaboration between artists and writers. The discussion will be followed by open mic readings. Weve asked writers to create their own narratives of prose, fiction, or poetry inspired by or riffing on the images in Goldschmidts show.
