This Thursday, April 3, our unit will be joining a one-day UC-wide strike to protest numerous unfair labor practices on behalf of University management. We ask that, on that day, you join thousands of others in withholding all your duties as a worker. This includes but is not limited to: teaching sections, grading, email, office hours, holding lecture, attending lecture, etc. The picket lines begin at 8am. The main area of activity will be on Russell near the entrance of the Memorial Union bus station. As the day progresses,we might add additional picket locations or have moving pickets, but Russell and Howard will be the main location all day long. There will be workshops/teach-out happening throughout the day.
