This WAS a day that the LORD made and I am GLAD IN IT.I went to help daughter-in-law prepare for sweet sissies grad party. First thing the cooler of Lemonade was spilled all over the drive way. No problem..make some more. The SUV was totally loaded with lots and lots of food, a BEAUTIFUL CAKE,all the kids, me and Rachel. She drove down the driveway. looked at me with a funny look.Judi, we just run out of gas! Almost like that Chinese car game, where everyone jumps out and runs around....we did that. loaded the van... And my car had 5 of us, 4 of which were the kids. Got a good start, after making sure the van had gas. Started down the freeway. Rachel, all the food, etc, and the cake ahead of us cruising down the road. Noah had just made the remark,I am sure glad we had your car, Momo. I heard a rumble....OH NO. kids screaming and me......ah screaming at their screaming! FLAT TIRE. Called ahead to Rachel, ah we got a flat tire...she BACKED on the outer edge of the highway, gathered the kids and was on the road again. I stood there, wondering if I should just push the car in the ditch and walk into the traffic.... LOLLOL a nice car pulled in front of me. A man came out and assured me he would help me.......to make a long long story a bit shorter. GOD IS GOOD. He sent this man to help me. He was in the service, had a daughter that just graduated and had been in Iraq and Afghanistan many times. He put the little spare on and it was about flat. He called a friend, who soon came on the outer road on a 4 wheeler with an air tank. Filled the little tire and the man said. I can not let you go that far (to the party) on that little tire. He made some calls, and said he found a tire up the road and I would follow him there and he would get me going......WOW WOW WOW., Got to the tire place, a tire was put on and I went to pay and the man said,I will not charge you for that tire. It is not a new one and you owe me nothing.....WOW WOW WOW.. as the first man left, he said. drive careful and enjoy the party he would take nothing but a thank you. He was working on some benefit for a young boy who had been in an accident. This man was still in the service and he worked with Policeman make people aware of the dangers of having a flat tire (uffda) to make people think about what to do , like be aware of your surroundings. I could go on with more but I think I will go to bed and thank GOD FOR BEING WITH ME. Made it to the party, had a great time, made it back home and am just so very very thankful for what an Awesome God we serve......I am amazed...
