This a Reminder: Tonight Short Mountain School will be playing basketball against West Side at Short Mountain. Games begin at 6 pm. The proceeds from the gate and concessions for that night will go toward two of Short Mountain students, Sawyer and Chloe Owens Christmas and any other needs they may have. Sawyer and Chloe lost their Mother this past Friday night in a tragic automobile accident. Please come out and support the teams as well as the Owen children. Donations will also be accepted at the door or concession stand that night or you can drop them off at the school office anytime. Please share to spread the word. Losing a loved one is tragic but losing a Mom at such a young age has to be devastating. A bake sale will also be held Thursday night with proceeds to go toward the Owen Children — with Connie Cantrell and 5 others.
