This actually happened to us yesterday at Michaels in Nampa when we took our clients there. But it wasnt a test, an old lady kept trying to shove her cart up between our clients while in the check out line, like she was trying to sneak and cut in line. At first Shaylynn was quiet about it so it wouldnt cause a scene and embarrass our guys. The rest of us didnt hear it. Shay simply stepped in front of the lady and quietly stopped her, told her we were all together, and had all our clients come back up in line with us. The lady kept it up and wouldnt stop and made the mistake of saying that she wasnt going to hit them with her cart but the clients where disturbing her and shouldnt be there. That set Shay off and she told the lady that they werent bothering anyone, that we were all together, and she just needed to stop and be patient. Shay was still polite, not wanting to cause a scene still. Thats when I noticed the stand off, still not knowing what was said prior, I just heard Shay telling her that she wasnt going to allow her to hit anyone with her cart and to stop. The lady kept going off. I finally turned and said omg enough, just simply stop! This was ridiculous! The lady didnt stop complaining and mumbling under her breath until after she left the store. Thats when Shay told us what she was saying. I am so proud of Shay for standing up to the idiots in our community that think anyone should be treated different! But honestly, I wish I would have heard that lady go off about our clients, I wouldnt have been so nice. I swear people like this lady are the ones that shouldnt be allowed out in our community.
