This afternoon I saw something very awesome. After the Rosebuds v West Sound game ended prematurely, they decided to mix it up and have a scrimmage. When I came in from my cigarette I saw that there were no officials. There were a couple of people in the middle jam timing and Mama T was in the penalty box. I decided to go help her. Then one announcer picked up a mic Then another announcer picked up a mic Then the Jam timer started being the pack ref Then there were jam refs on foot Then other pack refs on foot Then the jam timer had a whistle Then there were OPRs on foot. The kids wanted to play. They played and the community came together to help them do it. It was completely awesome.
