This afternoon I was behind a tractor trailer carrying a wide load, state patrol in front with lights on and a small truck with yellow lights in the rear. I followed them down Rt 4 at 47 miles per hour. I decided to pass when the roadway was clear. I ended up pulling in behind the Statie. It was interesting to follow directly behind a Statie with his lights flashing. Half mile down the hiway, he slowed down and waved me around. First time I ever followed and passed a flashing statie at hiway speed. I honked and waved at him. Also got a slight adrenaline surge out of the event.
