This afternoon Liz and I did a good bit of hard work. Penny and her Daddy were at a movie and she joined us afterward. We moved about a ton of rocks from where they were, doing nothing but causing me trouble in weeding, to filling the holes where we pulled up the two pools earlier this season. Now, we need a bit more dirt or pea gravel, which we have out behind the garage, maybe a few broken bricks, too, also behind the garage, to finish filling the holes. The fire pit is underway, the back half of the back pool is being transformed from a water to a fire feature. Its going to bring us many hours of enjoyment, I know. I didnt get any pictures of the holes before we filled them, but I will snap some after we finish and before we lay the stones over the filled holes. Yep, we moved a lot of rocks, some dirt, a little bit of sand...project fire pit is underway. Were excited to have so much already done.
