This afternoon, we were wondering if the Air Reserve unit, out of Battle Creek, was out flying maneuvers. Off to the east, we saw two lower level contrails, from planes that had been headed west, then made sharp turns and headed back east. There were two more contrails, a little higher, from planes that also had been headed west, crisscrossed and headed back east. Or it could have been regular Air Force, but we do get Air Reserve planes from Battle Creek and Wisconsin in the area.
