She has been lucky enough to visit many different places, but has never been to the U.S. She is thrilled that her chance has finally arrived! She enjoys learning English and sees this exchange as a great opportunity to improve her skills among native speakers. Her goal is to return to Norway speaking fluent English! Martine has a great outlook when it comes to experiencing a different culture. She writes, “I believe that one year in a foreign culture makes a person more independent, you learn a lot about yourself being so far away from your own country, and you’ll sure get an experience of a lifetime!” Academically Martine is an excellent student with top grades.
