This block has had a lot of names. Jones Block. Freund Block. Murray Building. Fudges Corner. In this particular postcard the business in the main part of the building was C.B. Fudge Co. - Clothiers & Gents Furnishers - thus the nickname Fudges Corner. Built in the very early 1900s - near the turn of the century it is still exists and was refurbished by the Murray family (Murrays Jewelry) around 100 years after it was built. For many years the upstairs was occupied by the Indiana Business College.. and I suspect there are probably many members here who went to this college. This fine building is at the corner of Walnut and Charles - south west corner
