This brings back a lot of memories. To my Florida friends, this is the floor of The Commodities Exchange in 4 World Trade Center in the financial district in downtown Manhattan, New York City. These are Members of The Coffee, Cocoa, And Sugar Exchange and is where my career began. The price of agricultural products, metals, energies, etc. are all traded by open outcry under one roof on this trading floor, and this is where the prices of these things that we purchase as consumers is established. Its all changed now, and is traded via the computer. It was a glorious time, and something I will never forget. As this video illustrates, the camaraderie and love is something that was shared by all, and can never be replaced. Seasons change, but this is the way it was. To my N.Y. friends and colleagues, take a walk down memory lane. Wishing a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my Commodities Brothers, and FB friends and Family.
