This bugs the hell out of me! What if the employees want to work because they need the money or they need a break from their crazy families. Hell, if you were to ask me about this when I worked retail I would rather work Thanksgiving than Blackp Friday and not have to put up with A-Hole customers treating everyone like shit and berating me for saying Happy Holidays and not Merry Christmas. Im not an expert on Jesus, but I seriously dont think Jesus takes offense when people talk in an inclusive manner. I hear he is a pretty cool dude unlike the jerks who refuse to leave until the cashier unwillingly says Merry Christmas. Also, you know most retail stores are open on Christmas Eve. I know I worked retail on Christmas Eve. I would think all the Merry Christmas nazis would have put up a stink about people working the day before Christmas, right? You know why you dont hear a bunch of A-Holes complaining about that? Because those same A-Holes are the ones doing last minute shopping and probably acting like a bunch of A-Holes.
