This could well be called a “Purge Surge.” He has done it again. He fired a highly decorated military instructor for telling it like it is with regard to Muslims. He additionally has summarily relieved the Commander of the US Army Garrison Japan because of an alleged “misconduct” investigation. To date, a minimum of nine Generals and other Flag Officers have been relieved of duty by Obama in less than one year. An additional count starting back when Obama was elected the first time and the count comes to over 200! See anything unusual about this? Of course you do. Other than lo-info-voters, we all do. Some are now speaking up about this purge of senior commanders. Army Major General Paul Vallehy, Lt General William G Boykin (founder of the Army’s elite Delta Force), as well as Maj General Patrick Henry Brady (Medal of Honor recipient) and many others are calling this an all-out Obama effort to silence voices he feels are critical of his leadership and military actions across the board. One senior officer, Colonel Eric Tilley, was suspended for “lack of confidence,” whatever in the world that means. A Navy Captain (now retired), Joseph John, refers to “the bigger picture” in which some 135 senior officers have been “purged.” He states that “the US Armed Forces have been under relentless attack by the occupant of the Oval Office for five years.” He continues… “I believe there are more than 137 officers who have been forced out or given bad evaluations so that they can never make Flag Officer. The truly sad story is that many of the brightest graduates of the three major services are witnessing first hand what this experiment in social diversity is doing to our Armed Forces. We are being left only with officers far more compliant with Obama’s agenda at weakening our national defense.” The Rules of Engagement, as an example, are making mincemeat of our troops on the ground in Afghanistan. Obama put these in place and now he is proposing to APOLOGIZE for OUR actions in this miserable place! Our casualty rates have increased dramatically, to include the loss of seventeen SEALs. We can no longer use suppression fire st our landing zones is a perfect example. What bonehead idea is this? Chaplains can no longer read letters from the pulpit from their Cardinals as this is a “restriction” of freedom of religion. The deliberate reduction of our Armed Forces ability to remain the premier fighting force on the planet is evident in the Obama restricting as many as seven of our aircraft carriers to port. Not only are they at sea doing what they are supposed to do, they make excellent targets for another Pearl Harbor type attack. Consider also Sequestration and the force and equipment reductions inherent in this. How about physical fitness requirements for our elite units? USMC has an excellent article on this topic. It was written several days ago and is a MUST READ. Now that women are allowed in these type units (think SEALS,Delta Force et al) the physical fitness requirements have been drastically lowered. How combat ready is that? You know of course that the ladies are now allowed on submarines as well as foxholes. Think with young 18 year old men and women in this kind of close proximity a few new challenges now exist? Retired General Brady puts it this way. Obama’s agenda is decimating the morale within the ranks of the US military. They no longer feel prepared to fight or even have the desire to win. He goes on to say, “girly-men leadership and giving out medals for NOT firing or from riding a computer ……. The President will never fight if there is any reason to avoid it and with a helpless military he will just point to our weakness and shrug his shoulders.” He just loves his suggested new Marine headgear. Three of the nine firings relate to the fiasco called Benghazi. Obama jetisoned these officers because they had the temerity to question his lies and coverup that resulted in the death of four brave men. General Ham was highly critical of the State Department for not allowing any kind of reinforcements. He openly defied the “stand down” order and was summarily dumped. We had Delta Force in Tripoli who would have/could have gone to the rescue. That commander was fired. The commander of a local carrier task force maintains they could have/should have gone to the rescue. He was fired for alleged profanity and making “racially insensitive remarks.” Army Major General Ralph Baker was the commander of the combined joint task force in Djibouti, Africa. Obama also caused him to be fired because he openly stated that attack helicopters could easily have reached Benghazi to stop the massacre. Do we need to even discuss McChrystal or Petraeus? Should we revisit Slick Willie’s comment about “loathing” the military to give the Obama a slight break? I thought not.
