David Eckstein drove in two on two hits to collect the Series MVP. 2011 - The Cardinals win a 10-9 battle in 11 innings over the Texas Rangers at Busch Stadium to tie the series at 3-3 in World Series Game 6. Trailing 7-5 in the bottom of the 9th, with two on, two outs and two strikes, David Freese hit at triple to tie the game at seven-all. Texas Josh Hamilton hit a two-run homer to give the Rangers the lead in the top of the 10th, but in the bottom half of the frame, St Louis scored two to tie the game at 9-9. David Freese hit a home run to straight-away center in the bottom of the 11th on a full-count for the home-team win and force a Game 7.
