This day represents a pure and simple celebration of Light and Peace around the Birthday of The Virgin Mary, whose real presence in the lives of good people who struggle has made their journey in life bearable at times of seeming insurmountable pain and loss. It is a day where the village is filled with Stalls where items stimulate the imaginations of young and old, where hand shakes and smiles are on display everywhere as people see each other again after a time apart, older characters that may not often come to the village all get a chance to dance in life among their community as thousands show up from far and wide to be together on this The Pattern Day.
