This election season has seen some of the worst violations of the code of conduct with politicians from different parties leaving no stone unturned to use abusive languages on a daily basis. Today #RajThackerey of #MNS and #GirirajSingh of #BJP both attacked their favourite targets viz Biharis( in fact the whole North Indians) and #Modi bashers ( especially Muslims) respectively. The statement of Giriraj Singh regarding Muslims to be thrown to Pakistan if Modi comes to power shows the mentality of the majority of Indias middle class which has nothing to do with developmet and only wants Modis rule so that Muslims can be taught a lesson or two like Gujarat. Its a shame for the Indian democracy and a slap on the face of its secularism that such a situation has arrived when its largest minority is being openly threatened to be thrown to Pakistan if they do not support the so called hero of Indias middle class, #NaMo. Cry my beloved country. I remember the great Sahir Lidhiyanavis words when he said : Yeh watan tere mere nasl ki jageer nahin / Saikdon naslon ki mehnat ne sanwara hai ise
