This event is for the National Brain Tumor Society called the Race for hope. When Chris Sanderson became ill I volunteered my time in his name /honor and have not looked back since. In a nut shell they are in need of volunteers and or Runners/walkers. The event is a 5k at the art museum in Philadelphia November 2nd. From my experience there people can do one of two things to join the event. I see people form a team and walk /run under the team name. ( This would work if people wanted to join and honor Bill aka Team McGlone or 33 , Team Lax ) you could also join as an individual. The second option is to just volunteer some time Sunday morning and help doing various race tasks like registration, race course marshal, etc. I just wanted people to be aware of the event as it raises $$ for brain tumors as Bill is fighting to save his life. If anyone could find it in their heart or has the time I think this would also be a way of supporting one of our fallen family members in need.
