This fantastic specimen of a dog is ZEUS! We feel like it should be said in all caps and several exclamation points, to relay how excited we are about him! Zeus is a 2 year-old purebred Saint Bernard. At 130 pounds, this giant is everything you would expect in a Saint Bernard - full of drool, fur, and fun. Zeus is a dog that is capable of great love, energy, and joy. He already obeys many basic commands and walks beautifully on a leash. And just look at that HANDSOME MUG! With medium length tricolor fur and seemingly doleful eyes, Zeus is a real looker. Now, lets get down to the nitty gritty about this big ole sweetheart. Zeus is a BIG dog and hell need plenty of space to live in. And, true to his breed, Zeus will need to be well socialized - the more time he spends around people and other animals, the better. He will need a firm hand to guide him and instruct him. The beauty of getting Zeus at this age is that the hard part of training is already over. He listens well to the person he recognizes as alpha, meaning that Zeus bonds very strongly with his primary caregiver and will be an absolute doll for them IF they are firm and keep his enthusiasm under control. He is a staff favorite here at Wright-Way Rescue! Zeus listens closely and completely to his primary caregiver and is loving, gentle, and obedient with the staff. He gets along great with all of the other dogs - male, female, big, little, EVERY last one of them. His gentle and laidback manner with other dogs will make him a good addition to a home with other dogs. However, Zeus cant help but chase kitties and would prefer a home without a feline.
