This feelings and emotions based movement has brought with it a trivialization of sin and a culture of ‘professing Christians’ who are unsaved and dangerously deceived. There is no teaching of repentance, there is no preaching of denying self and taking up our crosses daily and there is no outward transformation and evidence of biblical salvation. Their profession has become an excuse to sin, which is precisely what Paul warns us about in Romans 6 and the ‘converts’ are no different to the world they are conforming to.
