Heaven is ready for her second chance and a furever home. This sweet girl has had a very rough start at life and just cannot catch a break. We thought Heaven had finally found her place but alas it was not meant to be. Heaven is in dire need of her guardian angel….is that you? Here is a little info about this pretty girl. Heaven lived the first years of her life on a very, short chain outside all day, every day where I suspect she was being kept to be breed. Then this poor girl found herself in a small shelter where she remained for about 3 months. At that time, she started experiencing something called kennel stress and for this reason she was put on the euthanasia list. I pulled girl in her last hours. After fostering Heaven, she was placed in what we thought would be her furever home. Unfortunately there was an incident and she nipped the grandchild at that home and her owner decided that she could not provide her a furever home. After learning more about the situation, it was determined that Heaven was not entirely at fault and have set out to find her a place….a place for her. Heaven has just been broken out of doggie jail yet again and has been placed with a foster that is well versed in dog training and is working on her obedience (which is coming along excellently) and her manners with other dogs. At this time, Heaven really needs a place where she will be the only pet. She is also living with children at her current foster home and we think she should go to a home with children at least 5 years of age or older. She is a 30 pound female pit bull mix who is spayed and completely vaccinated. She does very well on a leash and is both kennel trained and potty trained. She LOVES to snuggle and just be with you. She gives the greatest and most polite little kisses. It is very apparent that she just craves affection. She has this amazing little snort that is the cutest thing and is really evident when she snuggles in for bed. She is the best sleeping buddy. She always has a smile on her face. I suspect she secretly likes baths and when you are not looking she will play in her water bowl. At this time, we are hoping to find her a home where she will be the only dog and with older children only. This sweet little girl haunts my thoughts all the time. I pray and hope to find her a place and happy home is this world. She is indeed in need of a special angel. If you cannot give Heaven a home please share this post.
