This good looking cow was being auctioned for slaughter in Tirupur shandy today because the cow was obese and probably didn’t get pregnant. The seller was quoting Rs 40,000 and the butcher was bidding Rs 29,000 when we last saw. The price would have probably been settled for the early 30s. The cow came from a well known breeder near Olapalayam. Why do these guys have to get the cow obese by over-feeding them with cattle feed and other processed junk and eventually because of their obesity the cows don’t get pregnant and the breeder sells them for slaughter for beef. Think the need to make the cows big and fat so that they become more of a show piece that they can parade in cattle shows drives them to do this eventually to the detriment of the cows life. We see this happening every time in the shandies. When will these guys realize their mistake and change ??? மாட்டிற்கு தயவுசெய்து கறி போட வைக்காதீர்கள். அது கடைசியில் சினை நிற்காமல் வெட்டுக்கு தான் போகும்.
