This has been a difficult season for Friendship Baptist Church, especially over the last 18 months. We have had so many dear friends and relatives to leave us for Heaven, that the heart cant quite recover any semblance of equilibrium at some sort of new normal, before we have to let another dear heart go into the Presence of The LORD. Feeling this growing heaviness, I felt The LORD impress upon my heart to share the following song with the congregation last Sunday evening, during our Fifth Sunday Sing. After the service, Brother Bill Eller confirmed to me the importance and the Truth of these words. Neither of us had any idea just how relevant they were, until the next day, when we learned about Waynes accident, which, from the class Bill is teaching on Wednesday evening, must be concluded to still be under The LORDs Sovereign Control. At the present Time, anger, grief, and pain make it difficult for me to comprehend, let alone embrace these words, but by faith I have confidence, that in Eternity, the wisdom of these words will be crystal clear. These words are being presented here, leaning on The LORD, that they may be beneficial to one or more readers at some point in the next days, weeks, months and/or years.
