This has been such a physically and mentally exhausting time with Hailey. She is so weak and now I am too from constantly having to lift her and adjust her. She can no longer make it to the restroom. I am afraid that she has a UTI. However, when someone is in the shape Hailey is they apparently quit testing or treating for UTIs. Then there is the yeast to combat that takes over if we administer an antibiotic, and that gets painful too. I can handle the fact that soon she may see Jesus, because I know she will be healed! It is the suffering and the moaning and having to watch her slowly decline that is the hardest pill to swallow. She hasnt been able to get out of bed in days to even go into the living room. It seems like every function of her body is going haywire. If we increase meds she destats and cant open her eyes and at some point I guess I am going to have to be ok with that. But, she is still cognitive other wise and I am not sure I am ready to take that away from her and let her start sleeping all the time. At this point it is just pain when she moves otherwise she doesnt hurt. So, all I can do is rely on God to tell me what to do.
