This hike is in French Creek State Park and will involve hiking on many different trails. The hike is just about 12 miles in length and will take about 6 hours to complete. We will meet at the Hopewell Lake parking area just off of Park Road at 9:30 a.m., Click Here for the location. Breaks will be taken as needed and we will have our lunch break at Scotts Run Lake. Bring plenty of provisions since the hike will take the better part of your day. The trails could be muddy in some places and there are some hills to get your heart pumping. I havent done this exact hike in almost 4 years and I want to go back to see how the trails are. We will visit 2 lakes during the hike and be moving at brisk pace most of the time because of its length. I can provide directions for those who need them and pets are not suggested. Always carpool with someone if you can. I will be asking for a donation of $2 (Premium Members attend for Free) at the beginning of the hike.
