This holiday Im grateful for the athletes who inspire me. Dick Hoyt and his son.espn.go/video/clip?id=9487179 Tony Green who battled the beat up roads and hills in Sonoma at the Levi Leipheimer Grand Fondo, after training mostly in the flat landscape of Illinois. And Im inspired by my friends at the South End Rowing Club, where incredible people swam incredible seas and oceans: the Straits of Gibraltar, the Catalina Channel, and of course the English Channel.
