This holiday weekend as we gather around friends and family, to enjoy good food, and the football games, lets all remember all my brothers and sisters both in and out of uniform. The current estimate is that over 200,000 veterans are homeless and living on the streets, one third of combat vets are returning with mental problems. We as Americans celebrate and idolize sports stars, actors and singers as our national heroes, when in fact we should idolize teachers, public service workers and our vets, whom terribly seem to be on the bottom of the pole in pay and respect. If you can read thank a teacher, If you can read it in English thank a Vet.
