This house was once part of the ghost town of Independence, - TopicsExpress

This house was once part of the ghost town of Independence, Colorado... now long gone. The Cripple Creek Mining company took the town and the whole mountain down with it in 2008. This image is from a 400 roll of Kodak Color Infrared E6 film that I secured for 35mm motion picture work. After processing, I had 1 foot of film from key shots cut from the roll for high resolution scanning. Today I am scanning certain shot in 6k resolution and this one turned out beautifully. This shot is still frame from a time-lapse sequence I shot with a ARRI 435 35mm motion picture camera, modified for infrared by Otto Nemenz, when I managed the camera department at Redman Movies in Salt Lake City in 2003. I managed to bargain with Kodak for 1 400 roll of Kodak Color Infrared E6-- a very pricey and risky deal since even processing this film in total darkness might not be secure enough from polluting it with invisible infrared light. My roll turned out perfectly.
