This is Ayers Rock, or Uluru as it is known to the Aborigines......And holds many Sacred Sites there-in. My husband and I drove here from Western Aus. in a Land-Rover in 1968, before there was a main road built, and we needed to use a compass to find our way. It certainly was a great experience for us, and loads of fun. Early in the morning The Rock is a blue colour, then it gradually changes to red during the day due to the rays of the sun. By sunset, its blood-red as you can see in the pic. below. If youve never visited there and have the opportunity to do so, then you must go. This place is a Must See and I promise, you wont be sorry......... ;-) xx
