This is Beemer . Hes 5 and has been very aggressive for years . To be honest I stopped working with him as I was tired of the bites. So of course he remained aggressive . But I decided last weekend that its not fair to both of us to stop trying . I have to give it 100%. So I got gloves and started having him step up a few times a day to start . He didnt like treats but I found out he loves peanut butter ! So I would give him a little each time and when he clamped down on me I didnt react (since I didnt feel it) I know many of you dont like gloves but a wooden perch never worked . I was at the point of giving him up so I had to try what was best for me. Tonight I didnt use any gloves and he actually walked into my hand to be caressed :) and is letting me kiss his head. Huge baby steps but Im feeling hopeful after all these years . I hope it is a start to something good finally
