This is Brian Perkins..... I seem to remember a few months ago we the citizens called for a special town hall meeting, I also remember we discussed this issue of Alicson and the missing money among other issues. I remember the amounts of missing money that were being discussed. If my memory serves me right, the mayor and council members (one inparticular) got very defensive and angry about the very large figures the citizens were throwing at them and if my memory is still serving me right, the mayor and this one council member very loudly and proudly said when the smoke clears you people are going to be so wrong about the amounts. Matter of fact, we were looked at with disgust and asked where are you people coming up with these ridiculous numbers like we were crazy or something. NOW THAT THE SMOKE HAS CLEARED I have one question for the citizens of Cedarville.....Is this how we should be treated in the time of crisis? Sneered at, talked down to, belittled......give me a break! Those folks put their britches on one leg at a time just like we do. We were right on with the amounts!!! WHO LOOKS AND SOUNDS CRAZY NOW?!?!?!? Food for thought.....Since the last 4 months of 2011, Alicson stole $101,265.00 all under Glenanna OMaras watch. One of her (the mayors) biggest responsibilities is our money! Where is the accountability??? Not so much as an apology has been made to us......SAD!!!
