I made a hard case to have Mike Rowe tag along with the Map Dot Crew for that very fact. We were doing Tourism while working our tails off for it. Ive got one guy making Smuckers Uncrustables on an assembly line! Another working in a field! One files deep in an office! And Im welding truck frames seven days a week! I said in authoritative southern tones. And with no official position, have become the choice advisor to now three networks that want the inside scoop beyond the political garbage that can ofttimes steer an agenda. Logistics was the only thing that kept a road trip with Mike Rowe from happening next week. I got a pencil in for 2015. But a real testimony to the influence of Map Dot. Ive got copycats. Folks who couldnt stand by and appreciate but rather had to try to one up. One guy with enough gall to even say I copied him. Hes wrong. In the end, originality, authenticity and truth (and by golly, plain experience) will win. And that brings Hollywood to the door.
