This is Drake! We have been attempting to fundraise for Drake along with several other pups, but he wasnt getting the funds needed. Drake came to us with a torn ACL and needs surgery. He found his perfect forever home this past weekend, but his surgery is scheduled for this week. His new folks are willing to help him rehab and recoup, but we felt it was important for us to follow through and not put additional financial pressure on them. Our vet has agreed to reduce the charges to only $1000, we have raised $240 for him already. Another in our care is Abigail, a sweet senior who has already gone through an extensive amputation surgery. She was turned into the Humane Society of SW Washington. We do not know under what conditions but how heart breaking to see a three legged, going blind, lovely lady at a shelter. Abigail is currently being fostered in Vancouver, WA. Our vet has already run blood work and determined that this girl is healthy and should have several years left in her!
