This is Jared Axen: a nurse at Valencia Hospital in California. Jared, though, isn’t your everyday nurse. Instead, the LA Times calls him “The Singing Nurse.” In an effort to personalize and better the care for his patients, Jared started to sing to his patients, helping sooth and relax them, even going so far to make them feel more important. In this particular video, you can see how effective and powerful his singing is on an older patient. :)
