This is Jenson. He came to shelter with an open wound and several lacerations. We feared he had been hit by a car, and had a broken leg. The vet was concerned about internal trauma, and wanted XRYs of leg and chest, which we approved. Additionally, bloodwork was done to also assess for internal injuries. Fortunately, his bloodwork was normal, and he had no broken bones. He has a lot of soft tissue damage, an open wound at his hock, several lacerations, and an infection. He will require frequent bandage changes, and we approved antibiotics and medications for pain and swelling ....We need some help his bill will exceed $600.
