This is Josh and Kims latest blog post sharing what has been going on with their family and what God is doing during this time in Abaanas Hope in Gulu,Uganda. Theyre also beginning to actively raise their support for the time (probably about two-three years) theyll be living there (with their six children)! If anyone is interested in having Josh and/or Kim speak at your church, Sunday School Class, small group, civic organizations,etc. or even meet for lunch or dinner, to share what God is doing at Abaanas Hope, please contact him or you could even contact me and I would set it up for you! Raising their support is the part theyve been dreading most. Asking other people to pay to support your family is not something any of us are accustomed to doing, so its very hard for them. So, please, if you or your church or civic club or just a bunch of your friends have any interest in missions and what God is doing right now in Africa, please contact Josh, Kim or myself and well get it set up!! You dont have to live in the Bham area (although were not excluding you guys), they will travel to other states (within reason) to share about what God is doing in the part of the world that will become their new homeland!! If you dont feel led to partner with them financially, we need strong prayer warriors to support them in prayer. Believe me, this support raising part of their ministry is not easy and they really would like to just skip this part of their assignment and go straight to the mission field, but unfortunately, they have to eat to live as well as have a place to live, a car to drive, homeschooling materials, clothes to wear, etc. if you are at all interested in missions or if your church supports missionaries, consider this as partnering with God to spread the Gospel (He could do it without us, but our loving Father gives us a chance to be blessed by helping Him.). Please pray carefully about this mission opportunity and we hope to hear from you soon!! Also, a huge THANK YOU to those who have already made donations and/or monthly pledges!!
