This is NOT a soup chili, but it has tremendous taste and texture; youll see at the bottom of the recipe that it makes 6 servings with a cost factor of about $1.45 per serving. Wolf Creek Skillet Chili 2 pounds of ground beef 1 large onion diced 1 green pepper diced 1 teaspoon of minced garlic 1 cup of tomato juice 1 15 ounce can of kidney beans(washed and drained) 1 boil in the bag rice 1 package to taco seasoning 4 teaspoons of chili powder 1 teaspoon of dried oregano 1 teaspoon of salt 1 15 ounce can of whole kernel corn(washed and drained) In a 14” skillet over medium heat, cook beef, onion, green pepper, and garlic until the meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain excess grease from mixture. Add tomato juice, taco seasoning, chili powder, oregano and salt. Cook rice according to the directions supplied with product. Add rice, beans, and corn to mixture and let simmer until beans and corn are tender and heated through.
