This is ...You Named Your Cat, number five. I hope you all enjoy the poem, please send more names if you so desire. Feedback and shares are always appreciated as us struggling writers need all the help we can get :) You named your cats, number five The names just keep on coming, to honour all you friends. So I will write some verses, in praise of what you send. Without further ado… Tabby Little climbs up legs, Miss Tipsy is refined. Feisty could be dynamite, but Georgia’s on our mind. Timmy da Timid Scallyway, could be hard to rhyme. Whereas Buffy da Bampire Flayer, would take a long long time. Queen Bambi’s put us back on track, but she is not a fawn. Payton’s woken up I’d say, Judging by that yawn! Bear is big but not a grump, Rowdy isn’t loud. Monkeyface, gee what a name! Ron Weasley, we are proud! Odin has fine Nordic roots, Bombay is full of spice. Bella means quite beautiful, a name I feel is nice. Ziggy may be stardust, David Bowie’s, chosen boy. Amber has a that glowing look and Sid brings lots of joy. Buzz the Fuzz and little Dave, These names are just divine. Whilst the Dandy and Beano pair, are comically sublime! Missy the Minx just says all, Lord Grayson would concur. Fudge is soft and very sweet, Lord Stitch will sit and purr. Eddy has a steady ring, Granville’s back again. Flora could be Poppy’s friend, Good wishes we will send. There’s more to come I promise you, as long as I have names. The challenge is magnificent, to stimulate my brain !!!! Teresa xx
