This is a bit long but I am gathering information/research on this subject, and would appreciate your input. Do you think this sums up exactly what has been going on in this country? 1. They are gradually surrendering American sovereignty, piece by piece, step by step. to various international organizations of which the UN is the outstanding but far from the only example. 2. Greatly expanded government spending for every conceivable means of getting rid of ever larger sums of money, as wastefully as possible. 3. Higher and then much higher taxes 4. An increasingly unbalanced budget despite the higher taxes. 5. Wild inflation of our currency. 6. Government controls of prices, wages and materials. Supposedly to combat inflation. 7. Greatly increased socialist controls over every operation of our economy and every activity of our daily lives. This is to be accompanied naturally and automatically by a correspondingly huge increase in the size of our bureaucracy in both the cost and reach of our domestic government. 8. Far more centralization of power in Washington and the practical elimination of our state lines. There is a many faceted drive at work to have our state lines eventually mean no more within the nation then our county lines do with the states. 9. The steady advance of federal aid to and control over educational system leading to complete federalization of our public education. 10. A constant hammering into the American consciousness of the horror of modern warfare. The duties and the absolute necessities of peace. 11. The consequent willingness of the American people to allow the steps of appeasement by our government which amount to a piecemeal surrender the rest of the free world and of the US itself. Do you agree that these issues below are what we should be doing to move our country forward and back to prosperity? 1. Restore complete independence of the us. 2. Return to gold-backed currency. 3. Reduce the seize of the federal government by 50%. 4. Withdraw American troops everywhere except for congressional declarations of war. 5. Get government out of the areas not authorized by the US Constitution.
