This is a “boys will be boys” moment :) lol… Spent the entire day with Sam at Six Flags over Texas in Arlington and we nearly had a friendly bragging right wager over nearly every ride for one thing or another. Are we competitive…? no….lol Ok, so we get to what seems like the innocent Tea Cup ride and while walking up noticed that the cups were spinning and some were spinning fast. So here’s the bragging rights bet – Both persons have to you every ounce of energy to spin the cup at maximum speed and the first person to puke loses the bet. Bet accepted. We sit in the cup strategically positioning ourselves for maximum spin. Ride starts and we begin feverously spinning the cup – seemed like forever and we were spinning the cup so fast that everything around us was blurred – a 3 minute ride seemed like an hour to the point that I was completely drenched in sweat and felt like I had run a marathon. Come to find out after we exited the ride - the ride controller walked up and said he ran the ride for three complete cycles because he said it was the most intense cup spinning he had ever witnessed. We did not even exit the ride gates fully when Sam wanted to go again… Although, I did not puke I had to take a 30-minute break afterwards because I was on the threshold of doing just that. Sam earned the win. After Sam got the win - He says - “So we a doing this again next Saturday, right?”
